Luxury 22 Room Hotel

The brief presented an exciting opportunity to create a unique and sustainable hotel design nestled on the shores of a serene lake in the stunning Snowdonia National Park. There was a need for a design that would seamlessly blend with the natural beauty of the surroundings while providing a luxurious and comfortable retreat for guests. Utilisation of high-quality materials and architectural features to ensure a distinctive and upscale appearance was used as well as an incorporation of sustainable and energy-efficient practices throughout the construction process. The location of the hotel was a significant factor in the brief, with the lake and mountain views being the focal point of the design. The need for large windows and outdoor spaces, such as balconies and terraces to provide breath-taking panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding Snowdonian landscape.

Cottage Refurbishment

As part of the project, an existing cottage on the property underwent a meticulous refurbishment, resulting in its enchanting transformation into a charming and inviting guest accommodation. The cottage's traditional aesthetic was thoughtfully preserved, harmoniously blending with the surrounding landscape, while interior spaces were revitalised to seamlessly combine age-old charm with contemporary comforts. Upgrades to plumbing and electrical systems were undertaken to meet modern standards, ensuring a seamless and efficient stay for guests. Moreover, the addition of upscale furnishings and premium amenities within the cottage further enriched the overall luxury experience offered by the hotel, providing guests with an exquisite retreat that exudes both comfort and elegance.

The project encompassed the construction of an expansive decking area encircling an existing lodge on the premises, providing an idyllic outdoor expanse for guests to unwind while soaking in breathtaking panoramic views. Meticulous attention was given to seamlessly integrate the decking design with the lodge's architectural character and the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. Within this inviting setting, a thoughtful array of seating arrangements, comfortable lounging spots, and engaging recreational facilities were artfully installed, enhancing the overall guest experience by offering a harmonious blend of relaxation and leisure in the heart of nature.
